Heart Quilt

I received a package in the mail the other day. It was a gift from a dear friend: this lovely heart quilt.



I know how long it took to make such a gift. I am truly touched by her thoughtfulness and the love and care she took in making this piece of fabric art.



This reminds me anew of why I love the art of quilting and how it binds lives together.
